Globally recognized recording artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid has attained another global career milestone.
The Nigerian Afrobeats act and Starboy Entertainment headline act, Wizkid assisted top British musician, David Orobosa Omoregie, professionally called Dave on a record dubbed; “System”.
The single which was released on Saturday, July 23, 2022 has sold over 200,000 units in the united Kingdom making it eligible for silver certification. This is coming after the ‘Essence’ hit-maker emerged as the most nominated African artiste at the BET awards.
‘System’ happens to be the six single off Dave’s studio album ‘We’re All Alone In This Together’ which houses twelve tracks.
Meanwhile; Swedish audio streaming and media services provider, Spotify have released the spotify songs of summer predictions for 2022.
The 2022 list houses 20 chart topping records from vartious artists acress the globe. Burna Boy and Tems were the only Nigerian acts that appeared on the Spotify shortlist for the songs of the summer prediction 2022.
