Buzzing South African singer, Tyla Laura Seethal, known professionally as Tyla, has finally reacted to rumours that she is dating Nigerian music star, Divine ”Rema” Ikubor.
She cleared the air while having a chat on the latest episode of the We Need To Talk podcast, saying Rema is just a “friend.”
Tyla categorically stated that the ‘Calm Down’ crooner is not her boyfriend and they are not in a romantic relationship.
The ‘Water’ hit-maker said the viral picture of them holding hands together that sparked the dating rumours was taken after she attended one the his concerts.
“We [Rema and I] are just friends. I went to his show and he happened to hold my hand. And obviously, people will always interpret it the way they do. He is not my boyfriend. He’s not my man,” Tyla said.
