Operatives of the Abia State Police Command have arrested 47‑year‑old Chukwuemeka Nwaobilor, a staff member of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from Isiala Ngwa South, for allegedly possessing a voter‑registration machine meant for Isiala Ngwa South while operating in Mbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North.
The suspect was caught at a football field after a tip‑off, and police from the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) of Isiala Ngwa North, together with the Divisional Officer and the local government mayor, whisked him to the state command headquarters for further investigation.
