Abuse, identity it, talk & heal

The term ‘abuse’ when used in any context or sentence is most times interpreted or perceived as ‘physical or sexual’ abuse. Individuals are yet to identify that abuse comes in various forms (unidentified cloaked with normality)we suffer (perpetually).

Aside* physical and sexual abuse, which are the prominent ones due to their effects on the physical and visible, there are other forms of abuse, including: physical, verbal/emotional, mental/psychological, sexual, financial/economic, cultural/identity

Mental abuse may be as a result of a person messing with one’s mind. These can be mildly categorized with emotional abuse, because they both affect the ‘software’ or soul of a man.

Now, verbal abuse.. verbal abuse has to do with using words to hurt and tear down another person. I personally believe verbal abuse is the ‘base root’ of mental and emotional abuse which have effects on the soul of a man. One thing I KNOW is ‘Words carry power’.
Genesis 1: 3 ‘God

“let there be light”
As a Christian it is what we say that we see ‘Mark 11:24’

Words posses the power to build up or tear down. To create and destroy. The president gives an order with his words and innocent people are killed. A word is passed and building are erected.

An abusive relationship can include any of the above. If you or someone you know is experiencing any form of abuse, reach out and talk to a professional who is trained to help you get out of an abusive relationship, and to heal.

I believe abuse can be experienced in different ways with different people.
Do you think it is different with people?
