Actress Ini Dima-Okojie Talks About Her Battles With Recurrent Fibroids

The devastating news that Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie just shared with her followers concerns a health issue.

Ini Dima-Okojie revealed in a tearful video that she had received a second fibroid diagnosis.

She continued by describing how, in 2020, she underwent an invasive procedure to remove the growths after receiving her initial diagnosis in 2017.

In her caption, Ini Dima-Okojie added;

My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am.

My journey with fibroids isn’t over recently learned they’ve returned. I’ll let you listen to the details in the video.

I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. Join my channel “Ini’s Circle” and subscribe to my newsletter (both linked in bio) for more details.

If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them.

To every woman dealing with fibroids, I want you to know I see you. It’s not an easy journey, but my hope is that we can change the narrative and find a real and permanent remedy for fibroids”

Fibroid is non-cancerous growths in the uterus that can develop during a woman’s childbearing years.

The cause of fibroids isn’t well understood. Risk factors include a family history of fibroids, obesity or early onset of puberty.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
