Are You A Member Of Christ’s Family?

Micah 7:14-15, 18-20

Matthew 12:46-50

While Jesus was speaking to the crowd. A report came to him that his family were around. He replied that anyone who does the will of the Father is a member of God’s family. He never rejected his mother but chose the opportunity to address his audience about our relationship with God. The more we enter into a deeper relationship with God, the more we become fully alive for the service of others. We need Christ as our shepherd to teach us how to be merciful and loving.

The Vatican Council in Gaudium et Spes beautifully reminds us of our relationship with God.  “The root reason for human dignity lies in humanity’s call to communion with God. From the very circumstance of our origin, we are already invited to converse with God. For man would not exist were he not created by God’s love and constantly preserved by it; and he cannot live fully according to truth unless he freely acknowledges that love and devotes himself to His Creator.” GS 19 § 1 Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.” John 15:9. God is our maker and Shepherd let us remain in God’s love always.

Today's Quote

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
