Former reality star “Big Brother Naija” Elozonam Ogbolu called dating in Lagos a “cesspool.”
According to him, many Lagos residents date the same people.
He made the statement as a guest on the latest episode of Is This Seat Taken, a podcast hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.
The reality star said he would choose a bride in a remote village when he is ready to marry.
He said: “Lagos is a cesspool. The person that you are having s*x with is probably having s*x with somebody that knows somebody that you know.
“So, I have often told myself that if I’m gonna get married, I will just go out and meet a village girl [laughs].
“What I mean is that I will just go out of this cesspool to somewhere remote and just marry somebody because Lagos is a cesspool.”
Personally, Village girls are more likely to be submissive in marriages more than exposed ladies, considering their level of humility. A village girl who has been humbled by life challenges may also see her husband as someone she should listen to. Wishing you all the best Elozonam.
