Be Ready 24/7

Monday of week 29 in Ordinary Time

Ephesians 2:1-10
Psalm 99(100)
Luke 12:13-21

Are you adequately preparing for the anticipated return of Christ? It appears that many individuals live as though the return of Christ is not imminent. There is a tendency to believe that this world is the only one that holds significance. However, Christ will return not to endure crucifixion again, but to judge the entire world and recompense each person according to their actions.

It is often easy to assume that there are many years ahead of us; however, for some, life may conclude unexpectedly. How are you preparing for the arrival of the Lord? Are you positioned and ready for action? Is your lamp illuminated and burning brightly? Do not find yourself unprepared in these final days.

One should strive to avoid complacency and instead emulate those who, through faith and perseverance, inherit the promises as stated in Hebrews 6:12.

It is essential to recognize that one cannot be a Christian solely when it is convenient. We must maintain vigilance at all times, ensuring that when the Master returns, He will find us prepared and pure.

He will reward His faithful servants as promised, providing them with exceptional provisions and care that exceed their expectations. While preparation is crucial, ultimate safety rests with the Lord. Therefore, always remain ready to meet the Lord at every moment.

Today's Quote

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.”
