Be Renewed By The Spirit

Saturday of the 7th week of Eastertide

Acts 28:16-20,30-31
Psalm 10(11):4-5,7
John 21:20-25

Today, we reached a thrilling conclusion in our exploration of the Acts of the Apostles and the Gospel of St. John! Paul has made his way to Rome, and right from the start, he’s passionately sharing the message of Christ, even while under house arrest! What an incredible moment! Luke wraps it up here to highlight that the vibrant church is no longer confined to Jerusalem; it has boldly expanded to Rome, the epicenter of the world as they knew it!

In today’s Gospel (Jn 21:20-25), John reflects on the vastness of Christ’s story, revealing that while much has been documented, there’s still so much more waiting to be shared! We possess everything we need for our faith if we’re open to embracing it. Each of us has a unique tale to tell—an inspiring story of how Jesus loved and blessed us. Let us live our lives in such a way that others can witness that narrative in us, igniting their curiosity to learn more! Amen! Wishing you all an exhilarating day and a spirit-filled weekend ahead!

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
