BREAKING: Fire guts Head of Civil Service office in Abuja (Video)

A section of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation was on Monday morning raised by fire, causing panic among workers and visitors at the government facility in Abuja.

The incident which occurred in the early hours of the day, reportedly affected part of the building housing offices within the federal civil service structure.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire had not been officially confirmed.

Emergency responders were quickly deployed to the scene after the fire broke out.

Firefighters are currently at the scene battling the flames in a bid to prevent the blaze from spreading to other sections of the building.
