Deterrent Voices

Deterrent Voices

When Jesus visited the synagogue leader’s house and observed the boisterous throng and people playing pipes, he told them to leave. The girl isn’t dead, just sleepy.” But they laughed at him. After the crowd had dispersed, he entered and took the girl by the hand, prompting her to rise. (See Matthew 9:23-25.)

Often, those who are closest to us become discouraging voices, leading us to question what God is attempting to achieve in our lives. It is important to recognize these voices and make appropriate changes so that God can materialize the miracles and blessings He desires for our lives. To successfully speak up against deterrent voices, you must first know the environment around you.
