Deputy Inspector-General of Police Frank Mba has retired after 34 years of dedicated service to the Nigeria Police Force. Mba, who was in charge of Training and Development at Force Headquarters, joined the force in May 1992 as a cadet officer and quickly distinguished himself as the best cadet in academics at the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano.
As a seasoned police officer, Mba served in various capacities, including as Force Public Relations Officer and spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command. His retirement comes alongside other senior officers, following the recent retirement of former Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun and the appointment of IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu as the new head of the force.
In a farewell message, Mba expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity to serve the nation, saying, “I am deeply grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the privilege of serving our great nation during his administration.” He also thanked Nigerians for their support throughout his years in service.
