Election Report: Ariam-usaka Professionals (AUP)

The elections for Ariam-Usaka Professionals (AUP) have concluded, with a total of 28 members casting their votes. Below are the results:

Elected Positions

  • Chief Whip: Christopher Ochiuwa won with 15 votes, defeating Ikechukwu Ohaka who secured 13 votes.
  • Deputy Director Welfare: Christopher Nochiri was returned unopposed.
  • Director Media and Publicity: Uche Abuaja emerged victorious with 17 votes, surpassing Emeka Okezie’s 11 votes.
  • Director of Treasury: Ogechi Ojinta won with 10 votes, edging out Abuaja C Hycienth and Okechukwu U Nkaulo who both secured 9 votes.
  • Director of Welfare: Onyemaechi Eleogu was returned unopposed with 28 votes.
  • Director of Diaspora: Dr. Eze Nwaubani was also returned unopposed with 28 votes.
  • Director of Southeast: Dr. Godwin Okenzue secured 28 votes, winning the position unopposed.
  • Director of Finance: Uche F Enyioha won with 22 votes, defeating Peter Ojinta who secured 6 votes.
  • Deputy Director Secretariat: Emeka Okezie emerged victorious with 15 votes, surpassing Okechukwu Uhegwu’s 8 votes and Onyemaechi Eleogu’s 5 votes.
  • Director of Secretariat: Henry C Ugwunna won with 24 votes, defeating Uche F Enyioha who secured 4 votes.
  • Vice President: Christopher O Isika emerged victorious with 14 votes, surpassing Chinedu Abuaja’s 10 votes and Anthony Okeume’s 4 votes.
  • President: Innocent I Eleogu won with 22 votes, defeating Chris Ogechi Ugboaja who secured 6 votes.

The voters’ register will be made available on the platform immediately.

Victor John, AUPEC Chairman, declared the winners and wished the organization well.
