Governor Of Kano Declares Sanusi’s Return To The Emirship

The new Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, has been appointed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State.

He made the declaration on Thursday at Government House in Kano, following the signing of the new emirate council law.

At precisely 5:10 p.m., the governor, the Speaker of the State Assembly, and other key members of his administration signed the legislation.

After a personal falling out, Sanusi was overthrown in 2020 by former governor Abdullahi Ganduje. He had divided Kano into five emirates before overthrowing Sanusi.

However, the law was revoked on Thursday by the Kano House of Assembly. The new law states that all offices created under the repealed law have been dissolved, and district heads appointed or elevated under the law are to revert to their former positions.

Similarly, all the affected Emirs of the five Emirates have been directed to handover properties in their possessions to the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Your Majesty, May your reign be with Allah’s guidance and direction. Congratulations!!!

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy

One ❤️❤️❤️
