A group, Save the Poor and the Needy Charity Initiative, have called on the Federal Government to confiscate the assets of rapper Naira Marley and Samson Balogun alias Sam Larry, for their alleged involvement in the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The human rights group advised freezing their accounts and also asked security agencies to declare them wanted over the charges.
Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 under questionable circumstances last week and there have been calls for the matter to be investigated to a reasonable end.
President of the group, Comrade Yemi Bello in a statement on Friday, asked government to act fast as Sam Larry, said to have fled Nigeria threatened Iyabo Ojo.
“We want the federal government to confiscate their properties and freeze their bank account and investigate their source of money and wealth.
We want them to immediately declare them wanted as we also say to government of those countries they are to deport them immediately to prove their innocence,” he said.
