  1. Recognize When You’re Stressed
Stress shows up in different ways headaches, trouble sleeping, or feeling irritable. Sometimes it’s just feeling overwhelmed or anxious. The first step to managing stress is recognizing these signs. Once you know you’re stressed, you can start taking action to feel better.
  2. Take Deep Breaths
One of the easiest ways to calm yourself is by breathing slowly. Stress makes us breathe faster, but deep breathing helps your body relax. Try this: breathe in slowly for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds, and then exhale slowly for 4 seconds. Doing this a few times can help lower your stress and clear your mind.
  3. Get Moving
Exercise is a powerful stress reliever. Physical activity, even a short walk, helps release feel-good chemicals in your brain called endorphins. It also gives you a break from whatever’s causing you stress. It doesn’t have to be a long workout—just moving your body can help you feel more relaxed.
  4. Make Time for Yourself
Life can get busy, but it’s important to take breaks. Doing something you enjoy, like reading a book or spending time with friends, helps you relax and recharge. Even short moments of relaxation can help you feel less stressed.

5 Talk About It
If you’re feeling stressed, talking about it can help. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or someone you trust, just sharing how you feel can lighten the load. Don’t keep your stress bottled up.
