“If He Is Starring At The Officiant While Saying His Vows Instead Of You, RUN,” Twitter User Shares Her Story

A woman who got divorced less than a year after her wedding vows were exchanged has resorted to Twitter to offer some advice.

The reasons for her divorce were “absolute dog shit,” according to @ttexass, but she’s considerably happier now and becoming deeply in love with herself day by day.

The Twitter user also advised couples to jet away from their partners after they utter their marriage vows without looking at them, urging them not to settle for anything that will not bring joy to them.

She said, “lol I got married a year ago today and I’m already divorced

“The circumstances of the divorce were absolute dog shit but I am so much happier now and falling more in love with myself every day. never settle for anything less than you deserve

“Also if he says his vows looking at the officiant (who is also your “best friend”) instead of you, RUN

“I’m just gonna follow this up for all the people talking shit:

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
