Muslim-Muslim Ticket: APC Northern Christians Vow To Teach Party A Lesson.

More trouble brewing within the All Progressive Congress as the APC northern Christians have publicly rejected the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket of the party.

The northern Christians have complained that the decision of the party for a Muslim-Muslim ticket was not an immediate one but rather a long-time planned attempt to exclude and oppress Christians.

In a summit at Abuja, themed, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people,” the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal stated that while opposing the ticket, Christians are still open to discussion with all who want to interact with them in good faith.

Lawal stated that in northern States, where Christians were once governors, Muslim-Muslim tickets are now the new order, stressing that these States are all APC governed.

He further questioned why the APC hired fake bishops instead of seeking a dialogue with the Church, hereby bringing embarrassment to Christians.

He stated that Christians are being replaced in the government, educational and even traditional sectors, from the highest level to as low as common workers, requesting that the APC not bring up the excuse of Competence.

According to Lawal, “The main purpose of this historical narrative is to let you know that for the APC, a Muslim-Muslim ticket has been a long-term political strategy and not a one-off decision. Thus, all this talk of competence as the reason for the choice of the Muslim VP is balderdash and diversionary. This is a calculated anti-Christian exclusion agenda that is being implemented.

“One might ask: why is the APC itself mute about our rejection of this Muslim-Muslim ticket? And why has none of the other perpetrators of this crisis reached out to Christians for a dialogue? Why are they instead hiring fake Bishops and taking church groups to further embarrass the Church? Why are they embarking on a vicious media war against CAN and the Church instead of seeking reconciliation? Truly, things are not adding up.

“So why are Christians, Northern Nigerian Christians in particular against the Muslim-Muslim ticket? I will try to enumerate just a few more reasons in addition to the ones I have already enumerated above.

“Implied in this ticket is the insinuation that northern Muslims are not willing to vote for a ticket that has a Christian on it and on which they are not represented. It is our belief that northern Muslims would have seen the Justice in a Muslim-Christian ticket and would have given it their overwhelming support had the party been inclined to do so.

“A corollary to this mindset is that Christians should also not vote for a ticket in which they are not accommodated. Unfortunately, this is the message we get loud and clear from this Muslim-Muslim ticket. This is truly a wake-up call for all Nigerian Christians. We didn’t start these religious politics, APC and its candidates did; so all of us should take note and act as appropriate.

“So our dear APC colleagues, spare us these sanctimonious lectures on “competence” and the cliche “religion of the candidates does not matter. The truth is that the 2023 presidential election will be all about religion, and sadly, you started it; religion does matter in this context so be ready for the consequences.

“It is important to reiterate that we Nigerian Christians, want to live in peace and harmony with all practitioners of other religions. We want to enjoy social and economic developments like other parts of the world but without peace, justice and religious harmony, this is not possible.

“On our part, we neither seek to oppress nor dominate anyone or any religion. But we will also resist anyone trying to discriminate against us and our religion. We were not the ones that started this fight. The APC started it and must be ready to carry the cross it has created. Blaming Christians and heaping insults on CAN will take them nowhere.

“For, how do they expect Christians to keep silent when a northern state governor publicly states that they pressured Tinubu to get a northern Muslim VP because they did not believe him to be a good Muslim? Is the VP going to be the National Deputy Imam? How do they expect us to keep silent when another northern state governor goes to Osun State and urges them to vote for someone just because he is a Muslim? Was he there for the election campaign or “dawah”? What can be a better example of religion in politics than demonstrated by these governors.

“Clearly, there is an agenda to politically, religiously, and economically suppress and oppress the Northern Christian. But we are up to the task. We will protect ourselves. The PVC and our prayers will be our weapons of choice and we will massively deploy them in 2023.”

Also present at the event were Yakubu Dogara, a former speaker of the house of representatives, Elisha Abbo, a serving senator from Adamawa State and Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Youths and Sports.

Wike Attacks Atiku, Conflict Deep Than Its Publicly Perceived.

Gov Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has come out fully at Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party’s presidential flag bearer, describing him as a liar, following the former Vice President’s interview with Arise Tv.

Atiku, in an exclusive interview with Arise, stated that he has sent people to speak with Gov Wike, in an effort to bring to rest the conflict between them.

Atiku Abubakar is said to have side-lined Wike and chosen Gov Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as his presidential running mate after promising Wike the spot.

This caused a crack in the PDP camp, with some leaning toward Gov Wike, feeling that he was cheated and is a better candidate for the position.

However, after a long time of silence, the Rivers state governor has finally spoken publicly about the situation, accusing Atiku of lies and sending his “attack dogs” against him.

He said, “I told my special adviser on media that I am going to speak on issues. We know in this part of our world, when lies are contorted, it becomes fact.

“I have always believed when the left speaks, allow the right to also speak. We are not getting younger and as days pass, we get older.

“So it is important when issues are raised or when speeches are made, one should be able to say this is the part of my story, so that the public knows the truth.

“It is most unfortunate since after our primary I have decided to be quiet, because it is a party I love so much. I never said anything, I decided to go back home and fulfil the promises I made to the people of Rivers State.

“But there comes a time I need to speak and let Nigerians know the actual truth. Having known the truth, whatever they decide to do with it is left for them.

“When the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar unveiled his running mate, no right thinking person and a lover of this party will say that the speech he made on that day was fair.

“Forget about his hailers, the scavengers and I never reacted to it. I said, no, this party belongs to all of us.

“Thereafter, Atiku appeared on Arise TV, see the statement he made. So many lies were told and then you said I should not react to some of those issues. That will not be fair.

“Assuming today I am not alive, obviously what he has said will be accepted as the truth. Look at his attack dogs, former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, Maina Waziri and others look at the statement they issued. Look at the abuses they rained on me, I never reacted.

“If a presidential candidate who believes he wants to win the election, and as somebody who contested fiercely with him, I never raised issues, I just kept quiet, minding my business to see how my State can move forward, yet every day his attack dogs continued to attack me.

Wike continued, “You see when people tell lies, there is nothing they can’t do. Some Senators called me to say that Atiku Abubakar said he sent Bukola Saraki to me.

“That is not true, that is not fair and that is not correct. I was in Spain, Bukola came to me and said, my brother how do we solve this problem. I said well, were you sent by Atiku Abubakar? He said no. So what do you want me to do? Look at the issues. Bukola said the matter is so serious that he never knew.

“So Atiku has never forgotten about the scavengers. Some of those around called my friends and said O boy, tell your guy now make him support us. I have been reduced to that level. I have become a guy.

“So Atiku Abubakar cannot say that he has sent anybody to me. Forget about those who are running around him trying to get what to eat saying we called Wike’s number, he didn’t pick, I don’t know your phone number and you did not send a text that it is so and so person calling, please I want to talk to you, nobody has done that. So, since the 31st of May, not one person has spoken to me.

“After commissioning of the project, I will speak. It doesn’t matter who is involved, I am not a slave and I will never be a slave, I am a free-born citizen of this country. I must be able to state how things are. Whether it suits you or not, I don’t care.”

Terrorists Vow To Kidnap President Buhari And Gov El-Rufai.

After the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28, the same terrorists have threatened to kidnap both President Muhammadu Buhari and Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna state.

The terrorists, who are requesting that their relatives – held in prison – be released by the government, have threatened to sell and kill the remaining hostages in a recently released video, if their demands are not met.

In the viral video, the remaining hostages could be seen flogged as they cried and wailed in agony.

According to the terrorists, “This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders; your senators and governors will come before us.

“These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past.

“Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these ones as slaves. If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining.

“By God’s grace, el-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring them here.”

They added, “You should understand, look properly it’s not our intention to, but it’s the outcome of what the Nigerian government is doing, setting a committee, a tea party in Kaduna to deliberate on how to rescue these people. They are there, enjoying the tea.

“You should know that there is nothing that the committee can do. They can’t do anything. Are you not relying on guns? Your aircraft and your guns are like spiders web to Allah. We are for Allah, we are doing it for Allah. We are not afraid of anybody.

“You should know that this is a little that you’ve seen. Know that, if our demands are not met, this place will become an abattoir.”

Asiwaju International Primary School.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, also well known as Asiwaju, the APC’s presidential flag bearer, has erected an international primary and secondary school, offering free education to the poor masses in the country.

As we quickly approach the 2023 presidential elections, a video has surfaced online, showing Mr Asiwaju’s effort to bring education to Nigerian children through the ‘Asiwaju International School,’ a project which is currently granting free education and standard learning.
