Today we celebrate Mary, Mother of God, the World Day of Peace, and the start of 2026. Our devotion involves dedicating the year’s first-fruits to God and honoring the Incarnation, especially Jesus’ birth and circumcision, with deep homage and love.
Mary’s act of bringing Jesus into the world inspires our gratitude as we renew our commitment through Him.
Peace cannot be achieved without God, the Prince of Peace, whose sacrifice unites us. Without divine guidance, true peace is impossible.
As we begin 2026, we hope for new opportunities and renewal. We pray for hearts and spirits to be transformed, so God’s word and blessings of peace can flourish in our lives.
May the Lord bless and protect you in the New Year. Happy 2026.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT OF ST. JOSEPH MARELLO
DECEMBER 31
I hope that no one will be absent from that gathering, where we shall all meet at the feet of the Most High to sing the hymn of eternal praise and of eternal gratitude.
