Mob Beats Man To D@ath Over ‘Missing’ Genital In Abuja
An enraged mob lynched a middle-aged man named Alhaji Tijani Yakubu after he was accused of being the reason behind the disappearance of Emmanuel Danladi’s genital at Kabusa village in Abuja.
On Wednesday, October 24, 2023, at a press conference held at the police command headquarters in Abuja, the FCT Police Commissioner, CP Haruna G. Garba, revealed this.
He said that in response to a distress call, police officers from the Kabusa division sprang into action, saving both the victim and the suspect.
According to the CP, both received medical attention at a hospital.

“Unfortunately, Alhaji Tijani who was attacked by the mob for causing the disappearance of the man’s manhood was later confirmed dead by the medical doctor on duty. However, the male genital of Emmanuel Danladi who raised the false alarm that his penis had disappeared was confirmed intact and active by a medical doctor,” the CP said.
He said Danladi, who raised the false alarm, is in police custody, along with two others who resorted to mob action, which resulted in the victim’s death, and that the suspects would be arraigned once the investigation was completed.
According to him, a similar incident occurred after a distress call that one Mathew Michael was about to be lynched by an angry mob at Apo Primary School, but police operatives from Apo division responded quickly and rescued the man.
