Motherhood: Raising A Godly Child In An Ungodly World 6

Hello, Great Mothers!

The book of Titus 2:12 says training is to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.

According to Meirran Webster’s online dictionary, ungodliness means denying or disobeying God. It also means acting in a way contrary to moral laws. , no good mother will want her child to be ungodly. We talked about how our children were placed in our care in my previous article. We discovered that they are God’s magnificent gifts to us, placed under our care to assist in fostering His nature in them. The nature of God in man is five. However, we have discussed four of these natures in man. The fifth one is:

Creativity:

This involves coming up with something original or imaginative. The ability of man to invent something is a result of the nature of God in man. As moms, we must impart to our kids the value of solely using their creative talents to produce things that exalt God. For instance, homosexual marriage, nudity in clothing, etc., were all invented by someone.

The world will raise our children to live up to its ideals if we fail to nurture the nature of God in them from the time they are young and tender. This implies that we will raise children whose perception of God has been corrupted, resulting in their being ungodly. For instance, when corn is planted on fertile ground, as it grows, thorns also grow with it. It is the responsibility of a good farmer to prune the thorns so that it does not affect the growth of the corn. This is also applicable to our children. As they grow and become sensitive to their environment, they tend to copy everything they see and hear, some of which may corrupt the nature of God in them.

We have the responsibility of raising our children in a Godly way. Godly Parenting is parenting that fosters psychological adjustment elements like honesty, empathy, self-reliance, kindness, self-control, fear of God, and living according to the laws of God.

t is our duty to bring up our children in a Godly manner. Parenting that promotes psychological adjustment elements like honesty, empathy, self-reliance, kindness, self-control, fear of God, and abiding by God’s rules is known as Godly parenting.

Remember, the home is the first school and the domestic church of every child.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
