Motherhood: Teaching Children How To Pray 8

Hello Great Mothers!

Prayer is important to every child of God. The more reason why it is important is that we teach our children how to pray at a very early stage of their lives. And so we need to intentionally teach our children how to pray. The last series of this article was on the benefits of teaching our children how to pray. We shall continue in this article.

1)Your child will learn prayer that there are consequences and forgiveness for wrongdoings:
Your children will learn through prayer that they can ask for aid and forgiveness when they make a mistake and they will be forgiven. He is faithful and righteous, and if we confess our sins to him. He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The likelihood that a child will learn when he disobeys and he/she is disciplined is significantly increased when you pray with the child and encourage the child to also pray for himself/herself. This action would help your kid discover the importance of making amends for their transgressions before God and other people.

It also teaches them that God is aware of their failings and has atone for them. T, they only need to be sincerely sorry for their actions, be determined never to do so again, and ask God for forgiveness.

2)They also learn about God’s plan for their lives:
Through prayers, our kids learn that God has a plan for them and can use them for his greater purposes.

We are aware that for our children to develop into healthy, productive individuals, they must physically be weaned. God commands us to wean our children spiritually as well as physically. One of the best methods to expose your young child to God is via prayer. Children will learn to transition from a tentative relationship to a solid walk with God as their King by witnessing a life that is prayer-filled. By teaching our children how to pray, they gradually learn to become all that God has called them to be.
