Our Faith Allows Jesus To Heal

Rev 1:1-4,2:1-5
Luke 18:35-43

The blind man’s healing in Jericho is a familiar story among the synoptic gospels. Luke attest to those whom the society rejects as part of the common group or regards as nothing to become witness of great faith in Jesus in the gospel stories.

As the crowd went on with Jesus, the blind man heard that Jesus was passing by. He cried out Jesus, the Son of David, have mercy on me. Despite the fact that the crowd tried to hush him down, the faith of the blind man was so strong that no one was could stop him from shouting and calling on Christ to have mercy on him and Christ restored his sight to him.

What can blind us from recognizing the lord’s glory in our lives and the lives of others if not sin and lack of faith? We the loss of the sense of sin, we become blind to our faults and judgmental of others but if we are truthful to ourselves we will deal with others ‘ faults the way we will deal with ours. Are you creating barriers for the opportunity that is coming your way and that of others? Do you place your faith and trust in Him even in impossible circumstances?

If yes, then know it is inevitable that you will walk with Him and see His glory as Christ as demonstrated in the gospel passage. Remember, the one who does not have faith cannot pray or seek mercy.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
