As Jesus keeps gathering His disciples one thing is that assumes me is that He does not go to the temple or the palace to call his disciples. He chooses to go where the poor, the heartbroken, and the common people are. He calls to them, “Follow me.” They acted in prompt obedience; they followed.
He was able to use different methods to evangelize to them because He understands them individually and they in return were committed to the mission not that He deceived them but He experienced His unconditional love for them all. He willingly laid down his life for them in obedience to the Father. They were overwhelmed by His love and with the help of the Holy Spirit they became bold and were able to step out in faith. Christ revealed the thoughts of Nathaniel.
The Lord still calls today to all of us, “You belong, follow Me.” We need a strong faith to keep believing and helping others to believe in the love of Christ.
