Oyedepo Declares An End To Oppression, Says No Bible, No Divine Health

Living Faith Church Bishop David Oyedepo has emphasized the transformational power of prayer and fasting, saying that people who disregard God’s Word are unable to experience heavenly health.

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Oyedepo spoke at the End of Fast Prophetic Mantle Impartation Service at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, and compared the Bible to a service station that keeps believers going.

He cautioned that ignoring the Bible is like not refueling a car and expecting it to keep going.

In his sermon titled “Engaging the Wonders of Prayer and Fasting 4A,” he urged worshippers to reach out and take delivery of the spiritual outcomes from the 21-day fasting and prayer programme about to conclude.

He stressed that faith without expectation is impotent, citing Proverbs 23:18, Habakkuk 2:3, and Hebrews 11:1 to highlight that supernatural manifestations require a strong sense of expectation.

“The last day is everybody’s day,” he declared. “This is your day. God is drawing conclusions in your favour today. The hand of the wicked shall no longer be seen in your life. In the name of Jesus, you will never see the oppressors again. Your night seasons are declared free from satanic interference—no more nightmares, no more struggling for survival, no more roaming the streets in confusion.”

“You can’t ignore the filling station and expect your car to remain on the highway,” he said. “God’s Word is the service station for our health—don’t ignore it.”
