Peter Obi Is Shocked By The Murder Of LP Female Leader Chintex

Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi reacted to the murder of Victoria Chintex, the party’s female leader in the Kaura Regional Council in Kaduna state.

In his message, Obi expressed his shock at Chintex’s senseless murder.

We reported that Chimtex was shot dead by gunmen who broke into his home around 8 p.m. Monday night.

Her husband was also shot in her leg but was taken to hospital.

It is also revealed that she shot her in the leg and spinal cord multiple times, leaving her dead after the gunman denied all pleas. Obi said her death was a great loss to her immediate family and to the Labor Party.

Taking to his social media handles, Obi wrote, “I am shocked by the mindless killing of Mrs. Victoria Chintex, the Labour Party’s women leader in Kaura, Kaduna State, by yet-to-be-identified gunmen. Her death is a huge loss to her immediate and extended family, and to our Labour Party. She lives on in our hearts.

“Her killing, and the loss of many innocent lives across the nation to gunmen and terrorists are the reason why I must prioritize the war against insecurity as my first task in office. We must not allow the waste of human lives in Nigeria under any guise.

“May the soul of Late Mrs. Victoria Chintex rest in perfect peace. My sincere condolences to her family.”
