Peter Okoye Rallies Up Support For Mr Ibu As He Battles Ailment

The award-winning celebrity singer, Peter Okoye also known as Mr P has expressed his support for the sick veteran actor, Mr. Ibu.

Mr Ibu had before appealed to the public for assistance as he battled an illness that could lose him his limb.

In a video posted to his Instagram page, the veteran disclosed that he had been hospitalized for several weeks.

Mr Ibu revealed in the distressing video that doctors informed him they could have to amputate his limb if he didn’t exhaust all other alternatives.

He made his account number public, asking for prayers and help.

His daughter, Jasmine Okafor, elaborated on his comments, saying that the veteran isn’t getting better and that they’ve depleted all of their financial resources, hence the public appeal.

She appealed to anyone who could assist in getting him to a better medical facility in another country.

Peter wrote on his Instagram page that Nollywood legends deserve better lifestyles. He went on to say that it’s past time for people to express him appreciation for bringing joy to our screens for all these years.

He urged his fans to join him in his support for the veteran.

“Our very own @realmribu (John Okafor) needs our help as he goes through a medical challenge. Our Nollywood legends deserve better, it is time for we the people to show him love for bringing joy to our screens all these years
I am pledging my support for him 100%. My dear colleagues, friends, family, and fans pls support him in any little way you can!
