Here are five ways to kick-start your healthy eating habits

Take time to plan your meals/snacks for the week. This will help you make better choices when it comes to selecting healthy options and avoiding impulse eating.

Stay Hydrated.

Set a goal to choose water over sweetened or soda drinks. Sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger drink a lot of water throughout the day as it keeps you full and prevents you from unnecessary snacking.

Add More Fruits and Vegetables.

Replacing portions of your meal with veggies or fruit will help you eat healthier. For instance, divide your portions in half and replace the other half with some bananas or apples or oranges, parfait even. Cook At Home

Ditch the habit of buying fast food on your way from work or school. Just like the first point, planning and prepping your meals will save you time and stress in times when you’re running late or busy. Cooking at home allows you to control ingredients and portion sizes. It also allows you to experiment with new recipes.

Practice Portion Control
