PSG Star Kylian Mbappe Speaks After Al-Hilal’s Offer

Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence following Al-Hilal’s world record £259 million offer to PSG.

Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League submitted their remarkable bid on Monday as PSG seeks to transfer Mbappe after he declined to sign a new contract with one year remaining on his term.

In response to the bid, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo joked about it on social media, despite Mbappe’s stated reluctance to transfer to Saudi Arabia.

“Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe,” Basketball star, Antetokounmpo jokingly tweeted.

The message got a response from Mbappe, who responded with a sequence of laughing emojis.

Despite Al-Hilal’s spectacular bid, Mbappe ‘does not want to play in Saudi Arabia,’ according to Relevo.

According to the Madrid-based newspaper, Mbappe is keen to see out the final year of his contract with the current French champions, who do not want to lose the striker on a free transfer.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently stated that Mbappe would be ‘impossible’ to leave for free.

Mbappe is apparently ‘prepared to wait on the bench all season’ amid a continuing stalemate with the club, having already been left off the team’s pre-season trip.

Al-Hilal’s offer would be the most expensive transfer in football history, surpassing Neymar’s £198 million move from Barcelona to PSG. The proposed contract would reportedly pay Mbappe £600 million in just one year.
