PSG To Move For Osimhen In January

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ligue 1 superpower Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is still interested in acquiring Nigerian attacker Victor Osimhen.

However, a double release clause linked to the player’s contracts with Galatasaray and Napoli would need to be worked out for any January move.

Additionally, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Old Lady would join the Nigerian international team the following month.

Osimhen, who is presently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, has been playing brilliantly this season, making 13 appearances in all competitions and dishing up five assists and ten goals.

Club director Luis Campos, a longtime admirer who collaborated with Osimhen at Lille, is driving PSG’s interest in the 25-year-old striker despite his recent injury.

According to Gazzetta, Osimhen has a €75 million release clause in his contract with Napoli that goes into effect in January.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Galatasaray is entitled to an extra €6 million in compensation from any suitor, including PSG, in order to release the player in the middle of the season.

Even though Galatasaray is assured that they would keep Osimhen through the end of the season, his future is unknown due to the peculiar contractual circumstances, especially in light of PSG’s resolve to strengthen their assault.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
