Rio Ferdinand Urges Man United To Sign Osimhen

Football icon Rio Ferdinand has called on his former team, Manchester United, to secure the signature of Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, cautioning that he would be “disappointed” if the Napoli star joins Galatasaray instead of moving to Old Trafford.

During a conversation with tennis player Nick Kyrgios on talkSPORT, Ferdinand stressed the pressing need for Manchester United to bolster their offensive line after failing to sign Viktor Gyökeres, who is poised to complete a transfer to Arsenal.

“Osimhen knows how to score goals at the top level,” Ferdinand declared.

Sources indicate that Galatasaray have tabled a £50 million offer for the Nigerian striker, a sum Ferdinand labeled as “absolute peanuts” in today’s transfer market.

“I will be disappointed if Osimhen goes to Galatasaray for that type of money when Man United are crying out for a number 9,” he further stated.

Ferdinand also expressed that if United succeeded in signing Osimhen, he would feel significantly more optimistic about the club’s attacking potential for the forthcoming season.

“But if Man United got Osimhen, then I wouldn’t be too concerned.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
