Saturday of week 13 in Ordinary Time

 Genesis 27:1-5,15-29
Psalm 134(135):1-6
Matthew 9:14-17

We are called to give up our old ways of thinking and allow ourselves to be born anew.

Each day presents an opportunity for renewal. Daily, Jesus offers us the chance to receive His Spirit of new understanding, inviting us to transform ourselves into vessels capable of holding this new wisdom. This process of change can often be challenging and may induce discomfort. Nevertheless, as individuals committed to the Christian faith, we are called to engage actively in this creative journey of transformation, relinquishing outdated perspectives and embracing a rebirth of purpose.

My prayer today is that we collectively embrace this transformation, allowing ourselves to serve as instruments for building God’s kingdom here on earth. Amen.
