God never gives us more than we can handle. His commandments are never grievous and His will, though sometimes, not very pleasant in the beginning, always brings peace and gladness in the end.

As it always is, we are never able to truly tell how much strength we have in us until we accept the challenge to embrace our assignments.

Whether it was Saul the son of Kish, Gideon or Peter, we never become the deliverer of our people or the great pillar upon which God will build, until we first move beyond the limitations that appear so inherent in us. It is only then that we begin to understand that it is His grace that works in us to produce results.

God never searches for perfect vessels for His assignment, or else he will search forever finding none. Always, He searches for men and women who themselves are willing to be perfected through the assignment.

The call for us this week is to wholeheartedly say ‘yes’ to God, not because we look all prepared but because we trust God will never leave us without help. Good morning and have a blessed week ahead.
