The Miracles Of Multiplication

The Miracles Of Multiplication

The miracles of the multiplication of bread is an anticipation of the day when He would have His own body broken like bread upon the cross, offering spiritual and eternal nourishment to all who would call upon His name and place their faith and trust in Him.

TWO LOCATIONS : SAME MIRACLE

The miracle of the multiplication is central to all the gospels. The gospel of Matthew tells us that the miracle it took place in the Jewish region of Galilee in Bethsaida among 5,000 ( reason was they were like sheep without a shepherd ) while Mark tells us that it happened in the Gentile region of Generasenes, Decapolis ( they were without food). The people had been with him for three days, he had compassion for them. They got seven loaves, he gave thanks, blessed them, broke them and handled it to be distributed. They were to sit on the ground ( :Jesus feeds us in season and out of season) not on grass this time indicating the season of the year.

ONE BREAD FOR ALL

The miracle is Jesus himself broken for all. The miracle took place in both areas to tell us that Christ is the New Moses instruct us making himself an example for us to follow. There is no greater asset in the world than the body and blood of Christ but it is worthless to us if we do not believe & live the life to which it calls us

BE A EUCHARISTIC PERSON

The Eucharist motivates us to be like Jesus who gave His very life for our sake. We’re expected to be become selfless for the good and welfare of others most especially d poor, & d unwanted. Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. –1 Corinthians 10:17

Today's Quote

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
