Faith in Christianity is often discussed in terms of believing God’s promises, trusting in his faithfulness, and relying on God’s character and faithfulness to act. Faith is the key to all, faith does not struggle with issues, faith creates a solution to unwanted situations.

Faith is taking  spiritual responsibility in the light of scripture, thereby committing/believing in God to perform according to His will in that situation. It is also a conviction that promise made will be fulfilled and it works by love and joy.

Whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That doubting person should not expect to receive anything coming from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in his or her decisions.

I will like to share a story of a couple who waited for 10 good years without having a child. Although it was not easy because the wife had to bear all the insults thrown at her by the husband’s family, friends, and close relations. She had hope that God did not create her as a barren woman, she decided to sow a seed of faith and in return ask God to give her a child. She made sure she redeemed the pledge she made to God despite the fact that she was finding things difficult in terms of finances. Three months after she redeemed the pledge she became pregnant.💃💃💃 Alleluia!!!! She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and she was grateful to God for putting her enemies to shame. That is faith, she did not give up, she trusted in God, she believed in him that he will answer her prayers and indeed he answered her prayers by putting smiles on her face. What a marvelous God we serve!

Where faith grows, miracles blossom. Let your faith be strong in Christ Jesus. Now we can see that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
