Threesome: Woman Raped, Man Found Dead After Threesome Goes Wrong

A threesome set up on a dating app turned into the horrific rape and murder of her two victims.

Two men were killed, a woman was brutally assaulted and one was arrested in Indiana yesterday after an alleged threesome meeting via a dating app turned into a nightmare.

An Indiana woman identified as Heidi Carter met a woman on a lesbian dating app on Tuesday and invited her and her boyfriend to her home on Stinson Avenue in Evansville which she shares with her boyfriend.

According to police, Carter allegedly drank alcohol and took drugs before engaging in consensual sexual activity.

But Ms. Carter’s boyfriend, Kerry Hammond, reportedly caught her in the act and flew into a rage. He attacked the woman and her boyfriend with a baseball bat. He allegedly stopped the two and raped the woman in the presence of Carter.

“An individual was located inside the residence but unfortunately was deceased and beyond help. The manner of death appeared suspicious and gruesome. He had been restrained, duct-taped, beaten, and strangled,” Evansville Police Department spokeswoman; Sergeant Anna Gray said.

“They also tied up and chained the female victim, while the male suspect raped her multiple times throughout the day.”

According to a police affidavit, when Ms. Carter left the house for a few hours, the male victim tried to fight, which enraged Hammond, who then wrapped his belt around the man’s neck and strangled him. Before he repeatedly kicked him with a steel toe shoe and strangled him.

Police were informed of the incident after a woman who had come to clean Ms. Carter’s house found a body wrapped in a blanket. “After she sat down, she found a dead body lying under the blanket,” the affidavit said.

She told police that Hammond did not let her go at first but she managed to escape and alerted the Indiana State Police.

Soon after, officers responded to the scene. Everyone obeyed the command to get out of the house with their own hands except Hammond. According to police, Hammond came out of the house aggressively to attack police with an object in his hands.

He was then fatally shot by several officers in what “appears to be a suicide by cop situation”

Ms. Gray said the object in Hammond’s hand was a piece of metal that looked like a gun and that police believe he deliberately extended it like a shotgun so that police could shoot him down.

“Officers traced the victim, an adult female, who was tied up, tied with shackles, and she had visible injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment,” Ms. Gray said. “Another person was located inside the residence, but was unfortunately dead and beyond help.”

Minutes later, police found two teenagers upstairs and safely evacuated the minors, which “took officers by surprise.”

The survivor reportedly told police that Ms. Carter helped Hammond stop them, brandished a weapon, and even said she knew someone who knew how to hide a body. But Ms. Carter claimed she only pretended to go along with Hammond’s order to restrain the victims out of fear that Hammond might harm or kill her.

Ms. Carter has been arrested and charged with rape, murder, and criminal imprisonment.
