Tinubu sends second ministerial list today

The president highlighted the critical role workers play in maintaining the nation’s progress and promised ongoing support for their well-being in a message posted on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, on Thursday.

“Our administration has and will continue to prioritise workers’ welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again”, Tinubu declared in the May Day message.

“Here’s to everyone, young and old, entrepreneur or employee, private or government employed, whose meaningful contributions help in no small way to the development of our homes, communities, and our dear Nation,” he wrote.

The President celebrated the occasion of Workers’ Day by saluting the resilience and dedication of the nation’s workforce, adding, “You are the engine of our economy and the secret to our nation’s growth.”

His remarks coincide with the Federal Government’s continuous initiatives to raise worker living standards through infrastructural development, social intervention programs, and economic reforms.

The broader goals of his administration, which have been at the heart of recent government interactions with organized labor, include inclusive growth, job creation, and labor-friendly policies, all of which are in line with President Tinubu’s comments.

Let’s celebrate the hands that shape the future. Wishing all workers a happy, safe, and strong Labour Day!
