Following a disastrous implosion that claimed the lives of five personnel, the Titan submersible’s wreckage has been found on the ocean floor close to the Titanic.

Along with Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate Expeditions, and Frenchman Paul-Henri Nargeolet, other victims on board the deep-sea yacht included British explorer Hamish Harding, father and son Shahzada and Suleman Dawood, and British adventurer Hamish Harding.

On Wednesday, images of significant Titan wreckage after it had been brought to St. John’s, Canada, surfaced. The pictures showed a crane dumping the Horizon Arctic shipwreck in the harbor of the city.

The five fatalities are being investigated, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The Polar Prince, Titan’s primary support ship, was inspected by safety inspectors from the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada when it arrived at St. John’s harbor on Saturday.

After two hours of the two-hour descent to the debris, the Titan submarine lost contact with tour company OceanGate Expeditions. Eight hours later, the vessel was declared missing.
