God loves you; show that love to others.
Today’s reading emphasizes loving God and others, inspired by God’s love poured into us through Jesus. Reflect on whether the love in your heart is universal, selfish, or selfless, and strive to act as Christ showed.
Our mission depends on God’s will, and as a pilgrim Church, we are called to follow Jesus’ Epiphany and mission. We should support policies that promote peace and respond to the suffering of marginalized people.
Through baptism, we are called to hear and act on the needs of the poor, needy, and oppressed. Let God’s salvation pass through us today, transforming and purifying us.
May this year guide us to follow Christ’s light and mission in all we do. Amen.
