Princess Beatrice has given birth to a baby girl as she and her husband; Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi said they are “delighted” at the arrival of their daughter.

Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi who is a member of the British royal family confirmed the good news, tweeting that the little girl had “safely” entered the world on September 18.

The Queen’s granddaughter gave birth at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, welcoming her baby girl just before midnight at 11.42 am.

Beatrice and Edo shared the news via Palace today, writing: “Her Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their daughter at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Saturday 18 September 2021 at 23.42 am. London.

“The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces.

“The grandparents and great-grandparents of the new baby have all been informed and they are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the hospital staff for their wonderful care.

“Both His Royal Highness and their child are doing well, and the couple is looking forward to introducing their daughter to her older brother, Christopher Woolf.”

Princess Beatrice is the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. The newborn baby is the Queen’s 12th great-granddaughter and is 11th in line to the throne.

Beatrice married in a secret union last July in front of just 20 guests and announced she was pregnant in May.

As soon as she made the official announcement via Buckingham Palace, Beatrice made sure to give a sweet nod to her husband, the son of multi-millionaire property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Palace wrote: “Both His Royal Highness and their child are doing well, and the couple looks forward to introducing their daughter to her older brother, Christopher Woolf.”

And Beatrice also made sure to thank the hospital staff after the exciting arrival, writing: “Very happy to share the news of our daughter’s safe arrival at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London at 23.42 am on Saturday 18th September 2021.

“Thank you to the Midwife team and everyone at the hospital for their wonderful care.”

The Palace said the new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have been notified and are happy with the news. The newborn is the second granddaughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
