United Captain Bruno Fernandes Speaks On Erik ten Hag’s Facking

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has spoken out against Erik ten Hag’s dismissal as manager.

Ten Hag’s decision was revealed by United earlier on Monday, October 28, following their 2-1 loss to West Ham, another struggling team. United is currently in 14th place in the Premier League with just 11 points from their first nine games.

A club statement read: “Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men’s first-team manager. Erik was appointed in April 2022 and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy, an assistant coach, has been named interim manager and is still the favourite to take over permanently. Julian Nagelsmann, Gareth Southgate, Thomas Frank, and Ruben Almiron are all in the race.

Fernandes, who has faced criticism for his efforts in recent weeks and months, recognized the club’s dismal form and praised the departing Dutchman for his contributions.

Fernandes wrote on Instagram: “Thanks for everything, boss! I appreciate the trust and the moments we share together, I wish you all the best.

“Even knowing the last period hasn’t been great from all of us, I hope you fans can keep with you the good things Erik has done for our club.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
