VeryDarkMan Breaks Silence After EFCC Release

VeryDarkMan (VDM), a well-known social media activist, has spoken out after being released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) custody.

VDM and his lawyer, human rights attorney Deji Adeyanju, were seen in a car in a social media video that went viral. He addressed his fans and supporters regarding the circumstances of his arrest and detention.

Reacting to allegations of money laundering, VDM expressed confusion over the charges, stating he does not possess the kind of wealth linked to such crimes.

“How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money?” he asked. “I have done so many charity [projects], they wonder how. They don’t know I use debt for charity.”

Despite the controversy, VDM appeared upbeat and reassured his audience of his freedom, saying, “Anyway, we are outside, with my lawyer of course.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
