Popular Hollywood actor, Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock on the Oscars stage after he told a joke mocking his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s haircut.
The comedian, Chris Rock compared Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair with that of G. I. Jane, who has a shaved head.
Pinkett Smith has been diagnosed with alopecia, which causes her hair to fall out. After disclosing her alopecia diagnosis in 2018, Pinkett Smith has been battling hair loss.
It’s also not the first time Chris Rock has mocked Jada. In 2016, he did the same.
Will Smith, on the other hand, couldn’t take the insult as he stormed the stage and slapped him.
Chris, stunned by Will’s reaction said, “Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me.”
Will Smith, after returning to his sit, shouted back, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”
Chris Rock surprisingly handles the situation well. He said, “That was the greatest night in the history of television,” then proceeded to present the best documentary award.
