“Women Who Apply Cosmetics Before Weddings Don’t Believe God’s Work.” – Pastor Adeboye

Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye has strongly disapproved of ladies who apply makeup before their marriages, calling them “fools” for not believing that God created them.

Adeboye chastised brides’ heavy makeup application during the church’s National Convention, which was held at the RCCG ministers’ conference on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. He maintained that such behavior shows a lack of confidence in God’s flawless creation.

“At the beginning, things were not like this,” Adeboye remarked. “When you marry, you should live within your means. It is troubling to see how much is spent on extravagant photo shoots and decorations.”

He continued, “Women who apply heavy makeup are those who do not believe that God did a good job when He created them. God made you wonderfully and uniquely. To think that you can improve upon what God has already perfected is folly.”

There is no need to work so hard on wearing makeup on a face that God has already put his painting brush on.
