19-Year-Old Lady Creates Over 30 Instagram Accounts To Implicate Ex-Boyfriend

19-Year-Old Lady Creates Over 30 Instagram Accounts To Implicate Ex-Boyfriend

A woman, Courtney Ireland-Ainsworth, made up to 30 fake Instagram accounts, then told the police that her ex-partner Louis Jolly was behind the messages so he could be arrested, according to the court record.

Courtney Ireland-Ainsworth, then 19, claimed he threatened to stab her and told her “She is getting a f***ing blade in her chest” according to evidence presented at Liverpool Crown Court.

Ireland-Ainsworth, now 20, also filed ten police reports accusing her boyfriend, Louis, of stalking and harassing her.

According to LiverpoolECHO, the boyfriend was apprehended six times and spent 81 hours in prison, including being remanded overnight.

Louis, 22, was accused of stalking and assault, received a stalking protection order, was released on a home curfew with an electronic tag, and lost his job.

The boyfriend said they were dating for two years before splitting up on “okay terms” in October 2019.

After that, the girl began dating Declan Rice.

According to the prosecutor, Paul Blasbery, From July 15 to December 13, 2020, she made numerous calls to police, providing screenshots of messages and the handles of Instagram accounts that she claimed to be Louis.

Louis, while been accused by the defendant of stalking her, her friends, and current partner; filmed her as she walked down the street and sent her the video; verbally and physically assaulting her; making false claims of her using cocaine; breaking items in her house; smashing her grandmother’s window with a brick; and threatening to stab her and her boyfriend, maintained that he was innocent.

It was later discovered that at least 17 Instagram accounts were created using two of Ainsworth’s email addresses and IP addresses connected to her home and mobile phone, according to data obtained from Facebook, which owns Instagram.

In December 2020, she was arrested and interviewed, and she confessed.

Mr. Blasbery said: “She attempted to minimize during that interview what she had done. She eventually admitted it.

“She stated her ex-boyfriend Mr. Jolly was hassling her, but in order to make the police believe it she sent false messages to the police so that they would take it seriously.”

The defending attorney, Jim Smith, said his client was 19 at the time, immature, and diagnosed with “complex” post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The lawyer said, “She would have handled that breakdown [in the relationship] substantially different than any other individual who was not subject to a mental disorder.”

Her lawyer, Smith stated that Ireland-Ainsworth is an employee at DHL Supply Chain and was a “very respected member of that team” and “loved and respected” by her family and friends.

“The defendant and her family are truly sorry for what has occurred in this case,” he said.

The court Recorder, Harris told Ireland-Ainsworth, “You said after he had been arrested the stalking became worse.

“You provided images of damage to property and you yourself, as to where you said he knifed you with a Stanley knife, and there was a scar on your chest.

“You in my judgment involved your boyfriend Declan Rice and your mother and grandmother in making statements to the police… you involved them in your dishonesty.

“I find a lot of thought and planning went into this criminal enterprise, which had hallmarks of sophistication and cunning about it.

“Even after you were arrested and charged, you continued to make derogatory assertions against Mr. Jolly.”

Ireland-Ainsworth was sentenced to ten months in prison and was given a ten-year restraining order.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
