Regularly expressing gratitude in a journal allows us to reframe our thoughts and cultivate a more optimistic outlook. It provides a healthy method of focusing on the things in our lives that bring us joy and/or peace of mind. Gratitude journaling is good as it helps us take time to reflect and write down things we feel thankful for, no matter how big or small they may seem.
Now that you get the brief, let’s do a 30-day gratitude challenge. From today to the 30th day, we will write what we’re grateful for every day in a journal. You can use my ideas below;
Day 1: Being alive Day 2: Your health Day 3: Someone/people you love Day 4: An important lesson you learned Day 5: Something you’re proud of Day 6: Something you let go of. Day 7: Growth Day 8: Someone who helped you Day 9: A memory you adore Day 10: Something you like in nature Day 11: A comfort you enjoy Day 12: Something in your city Day 13: A recent photo in your gallery Day 14: Something in your home Day 15: Your best friend Day 16: The holy book Day 17: A good quality about you Day 18: A privilege in your life Day 19: Something you use every day Day 20: An activity you enjoy doing Day 21: Something in your body Day 22: Material possession Day 23: Knowledge Day 24: Animals Day 25: Who you are Day 26: An opportunity you once had in your life Day 27: Something in your job Day 28: Your age Day 29: The food you eat Day 30: Where you are as an individual
Feel free to change one or more ideas from the list to how best it fits your situation. Just ensure you stick with it consistently. Even if you miss a day, just keep going.
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
