Governor Soludo’s Son Ozonna Declares No Apology for Nigerians Who Dislike Him

Ozonna, the son of Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State, has said that he will not provide an apology for his way of life.

He was responding to criticism after taking part in the widely shared “What’s in your bag” challenge. Some social media users criticized his parenting and s*xuality based on the personal belongings he carried, while others applauded his candor for being transparent about what was in his backpack.

Ozonna admitted in a recent interview with content producer Goodybagg that his confidence and prominence inevitably draw criticism, but he is undeterred.

He said, “I think it just kind of comes with it. Anybody that is visible and confident, you are going to get hate. I am not going to apologise to them for not liking me, I am going to keep being myself.

“I do not do this to be liked by everyone because I have a very strong sense of myself and I am not willing to apologise for that. So I am not going to stop doing anything just because someone does not like me. We are billions of people in the planet and we are all different.”
