Oyin, a housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 11, caused a stir in the Diary Room on Tuesday when she asked Big Brother for a loan.
When Biggie asked how she planned to repay the loan, she replied that she would use a portion of the grand prize.
Oyin responded that she didn’t mind working as Biggie’s housemaid to offset the loan when Big Brother asked what other options she had if she didn’t win the show.
Biggie offered to employ her as a ninja.
Oyin: “Big Brother, I need a loan. I will use part of the prize money to pay back the loan.”
Biggie: “What if you don’t win?”
Oyin: “You can give me work. I can wash plate for you.”
BIggie: “Or you can be a ninja.”
Oyin: “Ehen, yeah [laughs].”
Oyin has her reasons for asking Biggie for a loan. Everyone faces their own challenges and struggles, and it’s important to remember that we all have our unique circumstances. She shouldn’t be judged for her actions, as understanding and empathy go a long way in any situation.
