Death is an unwanted visitor at everyone’s door. It is an inevitable end to life’s journey. Everyone will have a taste of it one day. CEO and publisher of Ovation International; Dele Momodu has reacted over why the Christian community in Nigeria has not said a word in relation to the death of Prophet TB Joshua.
The popular televangelist, T.B. Joshua died on Saturday, June 5, and Individuals all over Nigeria and even from other countries have mourned him. The president of the country and other politicians and dignitaries have publicly sent out tributes in respect to TB Joshua.
Dele Momodu, who is also a motivational speaker stated that the Christian groups in Nigeria have not said a word about TB Joshua’s death.
He wrote on Instagram: “Seriously no word from the Christian community in Nigeria regarding the death of TB Joshua. Even in death he is still hated.”
He added: “Does he really need any validation… All souls will die.”
Yes, Dele Momodu may be right on this but then, does it really matter if the Christian community reacts to TB Joshua’s death or hate him while alive and even in death? I think what matters is what God says.
Whatever tribute everyone is putting out there can never bring back a dead soul neither can it forgive a dead person’s sins.
If the Prophet and the Apostles can die who are we, let’s live to love, forgive and walk on the paths of righteousness not because we are weak but because we believe that it takes a clean heart to enter heaven.
Rest on, ! Prophet TB Joshua Our condolences to his family and the congregations he left behind.
