Vice President Yemi Osinbajo reached out and comforted her husband and her family of Mrs Bolanle Raheem, who was killed by police officers in Lagos on Christmas Day.
It is recalled that on December 25, pregnant Bolanle was shot dead by police officers from her Ajiwe police station in Ajah district of the state.
Osinbajo reached out to her husband and her family on her December 28th to express his condolences.
Raheem’s murder on Christmas Day has sparked reactions from Nigerians from all walks of life.
Osinbajo, who called from vacation, also prayed to God to assure the grieving righteous families and give them the strength to endure the loss. NAN reports that the late Raheem was a member of the RCCG’s Olive Church in Ikoyi, where he served as pastor until Osinbajo became vice-president in 2015.
